Mitchell Yazdani leads Mitchell-Y Pty Ltd as director and designer. He sets the product direction for UGG by Mitchell and for the wider portfolio across footwear, wool, sheepskin and Australian fashion.
The design work stays hands on. Materials, lasts, fit and finishing details are decided at the Balgowlah studio, and the pieces that come out of it carry the Mitchell signature and the Australian Made tag.
Alongside design, he oversees the group's retail shops, the warehouse and the online houses, so what is drawn in the studio and what sells in the shops stay connected.
